Upfront trailers are a very important part of a TV show’s journey to air, even if the general public never sees them. I’ve worked on probably fifty or more over the years. Here are a few of the more recent trailers I wrote for Bryan Zavala and CBS.

What’s more terrifying than your adult kids moving back in with you?  We had fun exploiting every parent’s nightmare for this Patrick Warburton sitcom from Executive  Producers Sean Hayes and James Burrows.

Craig Robinson is one of the funniest men alive today.  We had high hopes for this sitcom, which sadly didn’t make it.  Still, fun to work on!

Originally titled “Run, Jerrod, Run” this show had a great cast, but unfortunately, not enough gas to become a hit.  But there are some great laughs in there.

A great premise with an exceptional cast (James Brolin, Dianne Wiest, Colin Hanks).  It ran for about 4 seasons.  Again, another great experience with Bryan and CBS.

I worked on this fun spot with the master of TV promos - Geoff Calnan (while at Cimarron).

Let’s jump in the wayback machine!  I wrote a bunch of these classics with Michelle Jackino (while we were at New Wave Ent.) back in the day.  What a great guy, that Phil Hartman.
